Come celebrate your birthday with UCCS Rec! Swimming, climbing, gym games, and field games are some of the available activities for your custom birthday party at the UCCS Gallogly Recreation Center.

Build Your Party

Not sure what to pick? Our staff will help you plan the perfect mix during your walk-through.

Swimming

Splash in our aquatic center with lap lanes, a vortex pool, and in-water seating. Lifeguards are always on deck.

Climbing

Take on our 27-foot climbing wall. Trained staff belay every climber and handle all the gear.

Gym Games

Group games in the gym. Staff lead the fun and keep everyone moving.

Field Games

Outdoor games and open play on the Alpine Field when the weather is nice.

How it Works

  1. Pick your package

    Choose a 2 or 3 hour party. Parties run on weekends only.

  2. Reserve your date

    Fill out the Birthday Party Registration form. List a first and second choice date in case one is full. Parties are first come, first served.

    Please reserve AT LEAST 2-3 weeks ahead.

  3. Plan your party

    Tours are available any time on request.

  4. Party day

    Our trained Rec Kids Supervisors run the whole party and keep it fun and safe.

Good to Know

  • Open to kids 6 and older.
  • 2 and 3 hour packages available.
  • One adult required for every 10 kids.
  • A walk-through and planning meeting is included.
  • Weekends only.
  • For young kids who are not strong swimmers, a parent must be in the water with their child.

We cannot host parties on these dates.
